Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pearl onions, optional
  • 3 lb. shrimp, heads off, unpeeled
  • 1 lb. Kielbasa sausage (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 4 ears corn (or 8 mini ears)
  • 2 lb. new potatoes, halved
  • Old Bay Seasoning or favorite shrimp boil seasoning

Directions

    In a 5-quart stockpot, bring water and potatoes to a boil.

    Add corn and lower heat.

    Cook 20 minutes.

    Add sausage and seasonings and cook another 20 minutes.

    Add shrimp and cook on medium heat 3 minutes or until all shrimp are pink.

    Spread newspapers.

    Drain off water and dump on papers.
