Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sugar
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. corn syrup
  • 4 Tbsp. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Grease 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan with margarine.

    Put all ingredients except nuts into a saucepan.

    Stir to boiling and cook until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.

    Remove from heat and beat with a wooden spoon until thick and creamy.

    Add nuts and pour into greased pan.

    Mark in squares and cool.
