- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked old-fashioned oats
- 3/4 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Land O Lakes Eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (10-ounce) package cinnamon-flavored baking chips*
- 1 medium (1 cup) apple, chopped
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
- 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Ground cinnamon, if desired
Directions

1Heat oven to 350F.

2Grease 13x9-inch baking pan; set aside.

3Combine flour, salt and baking soda in bowl; stir in oats.

4Combine butter, brown sugar and sugar in another bowl.

5Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.

6Add eggs and vanilla; beat until well mixed.

7Add flour mixture; beat at low speed until well mixed.

8Stir in cinnamon chips and apple.

9Spread batter into prepared pan.

10Bake 33-38 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

11Cool completely.

12Combine all frosting ingredients in bowl.

13Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.

14Spread over cooled bars.

15Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
