- 1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 c. chopped Dromedary dates
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- confectioners sugar
Directions

1Combine flour and salt; sift twice.

2Cream the butter and gradually add sugar.

3Add milk and vanilla; stir in the sifted flour.

4Blend in dates and nuts.

5Roll in 1-inch balls.

6Place about 3-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

7Bake in 300° oven about 20 minutes, until light brown.

8While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.

9Makes 3 dozen cookies.
