Frosted Meat Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 c. bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. mashed potato
  • 3 - 4 slices bacon crumbled (can use bacon bits)
  • 1/4 c. shredded cheese

Directions

    Mix thoroughly 1/2 c. soup, ground beef, onion, egg, bread crumbs, parsley and salt.

    Press mixture into a 9 inch pie plate and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

    Spoon off excess fat.

    Mix remaining soup with mashed potatoes and frost the meat loaf. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese.

    Bake 10 - 15 minutes longer.
