  • 2 large stiffly beaten egg whites
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 lb. pecan halves
  • 1 stick margarine

Directions

    Gradually add sugar and salt to beaten egg whites.

    Fold in pecans until they are completely coated.

    Melt margarine on cookie sheet; add coated pecans and spread out.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

    Cool and store in airtight container.
