Frosting Bars

  • 1 tub Creamy Deluxe ready to spread frosting
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts, if desired

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Grease a square pan, 9 x 9 x 2-inch.

    Mix 1 cup of the frosting, the eggs, flour, baking powder and nuts in a medium-size bowl.

    Cover and reserve remaining frosting.

    Spread frosting mixture in a pan.

    Bake until wooden toothpick when inserted in the center, comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes.

    Cool. Spread with reserved frosting.

    Cut into bars (about 2 x 1 1/2-inches).
