  • 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 (7-ounce) tube almond paste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold Land O Lakes Butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 (10- to 12-ounce) jar (1 cup) orange marmalade or strawberry spreadable fruit preserves
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk

    Heat oven to 350F.

    Combine all crust ingredients in bowl.

    Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

    Press crumb mixture onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.

    Bake 14-16 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

    Crumble almond paste into same bowl.

    Stir in 1/2 cup flour and 1/4 cup sugar.

    Cut in 1/4 cup butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside.

    Spoon orange marmalade evenly over hot, partially baked crust.

    Sprinkle almond paste mixture over marmalade.
