  • 1 c. dates
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. walnuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Chop nuts and dates; mix with coconut, sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla.

    Mix well and add eggs, well beaten. Make into balls the size of walnuts and roll in coarse sugar.

    Bake at 300° for 20 minutes.

    Will be sticky.
