- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 lb. butter or margarine
- 2 1/3 c. sugar
- 5 c. cake flour
- 6 eggs
- 2 tsp. or more lemon flavoring
- 2 tsp. or more rum flavoring
- 1/4 lb. candied cherries
- 1/4 lb. candied pineapple
- 2 1/4 c. pecans
- 1 box white raisins (15 oz.)
Directions

1Sift flour and baking powder at least twice.

2Cut up fruit and nuts.

3Use 1 cup of the flour to roll the fruit and nuts in.

4Beat eggs separately.

5Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs.

6Add flavoring.

7Fold in remaining eggs.

8Add flavoring; fold in nuts and fruit.

9Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
