- 1 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 1/2 lb. dates
- 8 c. chopped pecans
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 beaten eggs
Directions

1Chop fruit and mix in pecans.

2Sift flour, baking powder and salt over fruit and nuts.

3Mix well.

4Mix sugar and eggs until thick.

5Pour over mixture of fruit and pecans; mix well.

6Line tube pans with waxed paper and grease.

7Bake at 275° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

8Makes 3 cakes.
