  • 1 lb. oleo
  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 lb. raisins, soaked in warm water, drain
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. shelled pecans
  • 2 c. shelled walnuts
  • 3 lb. assorted candied fruit
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon extract

Directions

    Cream oleo and sugar together, add all other ingredients and mix thoroughly.

    Pour into paper-lined tube cake pan.

    Bake at 275° for 3 hours.
