  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2-1/2 c. self rising flour
  • 1-1/2 c. seedless raisins
  • 1 lb. mixed candied fruit
  • 1 lb. cherries
  • 2 c. nuts
  • 1/2 c. flour to coat fruit and nuts

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs one at a time, beating well.

    Blend in flour and spices.

    Alternately with juice.

    Mix until smooth.

    Coat fruit and nuts in 1/2 c. extra flour and add to other mixture.

    Grease tube pan.

    Line bottom with wax paper.

    Bake 300° about 2 hours.
