  • 2 lb. citron
  • 1 lb. nuts
  • 1 doz. eggs
  • 1 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 lb. sugar
  • 1 c. wine or grape juice
  • 1 c. jelly
  • 8 c. flour (self-rising)
  • 1 tsp. allspice

    Roll fruit and nuts in flour and add all other ingredients. Bake very slowly at approximately 250° or 300°.
