Fruit-Cheese Dip

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Neufchatel cheese, softened
  • 1 small banana, mashed
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. canned crushed pineapple, well drained
  • apple wedges, pear wedges, strawberries or other fruit dippers

Directions

    In a small mixing bowl, stir together Neufchatel cheese, bananas and nutmeg until smooth.

    Stir in crushed pineapple or chopped fruit.

    Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 1 hour.

    Serve with apple and pear wedges, strawberries or other fruit dippers as desired.

    Makes 1 1/4 cups (14 servings).

    Also serve Fruit-Cheese Dip as a dessert.
