  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 4 c. fruit
  • 1 c. sugar (if needed, for fruit)

Directions

    In a 13 x 9-inch pan, melt stick of butter, then mix in bowl flour, 2 cups sugar, baking powder and milk.

    Pour over butter in pan, but don't mix together.

    Then in saucepan, put fruit and 1 cup sugar, if needed.

    Heat until hot.

    Then pour over batter mixture. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
