- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 1 qt. fruit, sweetened to taste (choice of cooked rhubarb, peaches, blackberries)
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Melt margarine in a 13 x 9-inch glass pan. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and milk.

3Pour batter over melted margarine.

4Pour sweetened fruit and juice on top.

5Bake 30 to 45 minutes until brown and crisp on top.

6Serve warm with ice cream.
