  • 2 or 3 c. fresh fruit
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Mix the first 4 ingredients and bring to a boil to dissolve. Mix in pan the remaining ingredients.

    Pour juice and fruit (boiling) over dough mixture. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or dough on top is done.

    Use a deep dish.
