- 2 or 3 c. fresh fruit
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Mix the first 4 ingredients and bring to a boil to dissolve. Mix in pan the remaining ingredients.

2Pour juice and fruit (boiling) over dough mixture. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or dough on top is done.

3Use a deep dish.
