  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • approximately 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 to 2 cans sweetened fruit

Directions

    Mix dry ingredients together.

    Add milk and vanilla and stir to make a thick batter.

    Melt butter in preheated oven at 325° in 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Take out and pour batter over butter.

    Do not stir!

    Pour fruit over batter.

    Do not stir!

    Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until crust covers fruit and is golden brown.
