- 3 c. fruit
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Put 3 cups of fruit in pan.

3Cream butter and sugar.

4Add flour, baking powder, salt and milk.

5Mix together and pour over fruit.

6Then mix 1 1/2 cups of sugar and 1 tablespoon cornstarch and sprinkle over top of batter.

7Pour 1 cup of hot water over all.

8Bake 1 hour at 350°.
