  • 3 to 4 c. unsweetened fruit
  • margarine (put over fruit)
  • 1/4 c. melted margarine
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. hot water

Directions

    Place fruit in oblong 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Dot with margarine. Make a mixture in order of 1/4 cup melted margarine milk, sugar, flour and baking powder.

    Spread mixture over fruit.

    Mix cornstarch and sugar; sprinkle over batter.

    Pour hot water over entire pan.

    Bake at 375° for 1 hour or until browned.
