  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. baking soda
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 (15 oz.) can fruit cocktail, undrained
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt and soda. Stir in egg and undrained fruit cocktail. Pour into greased 10 x 7-inch baking pan. Blend brown sugar and nuts together and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
