  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • any fresh fruit (strawberries, peaches or raspberries are especially good)

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

    Add beaten egg and mix until crumbs are formed.

    Wash fruit and drain.

    Fill pan and top with crumbs.

    Pour melted butter over top.

    Bake at 350° until brown, about 35 to 45 minutes.
