  • 2 c. whole dates
  • 2 c. whole pecans
  • 2 c. whole Brazil nuts
  • 2 c. candied cherries
  • 2 c. candied pineapple
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Mix all dry ingredients. Divide in 4 parts and shape in long rolls on lightly floured Saran Wrap.

    Put on cookie sheet in refrigerator or freezer overnight.

    Add fruit after you mix dry ingredients.

    Slice thin and bake at 350° for 12 minutes. Dough is very stiff.
