- 2 cups sugar
- 12 cup evaporated milk
- 12 cup molasses
- 18 cup butter
- 2 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, melted
- 12 cup nuts, cut fine
- 14 cup raisins or 14 cup fruit
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions

1Put the sugar, milk and molasses in a saucepan.

2Stir until dissolved.

3Boil over medium heat to 238F or until a little of the mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.

4Stir in the butter and chocolate.

5Allow to cool.

6Beat until creamy.

7Add nuts fruit and vanilla.

8Pour into 8x4 - inch greased loaf pan.

9When cooled, cut into squares.
