  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 c. fruit (fresh or canned)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water or juice of fruit (if canned)

Directions

    Pour batter mixture into greased baking dish; pour fruit mixture over batter.

    Spread margarine on top and cook in oven at 400° for about 30 to 40 minutes, until brown.

    May be served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
