- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 stick soft butter
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 can fruit pie filling (any flavor)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In a large bowl, mix all ingredients, except pie filling.

3Spread 1/2 of batter in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

4Top with pie filling.

5Spread remaining batter over fruit, covering as much of the filling as possible.

6Swirls in batter and uncovered fruit peeking through are to be expected.

7Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until brown.
