  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. regular sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 can fruit cocktail (large size)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Beat egg.

    Add fruit cocktail with juice.

    Sift together regular sugar, salt and baking soda.

    Add to fruit and mix until blended.

    Put in 9 x 12-inch greased pan.

    Cover with brown sugar and nuts.

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes (toothpick comes out clean).

    Serve at room temperature.
