  • 1 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 4 c. broken pecans
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon extract

Directions

    In large bowl, cut up cherries and pineapple. Add flour and coat well. Stir in pecans. Cream butter and sugar well; beat in eggs, vanilla and lemon extract. Combine with fruit mixture. Bake at 325° in tube pan for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

    Mix whatever glaze you desire and pour over cake; cool.
