- 2 (4 serving size) pkg. Jell-O brand gelatin (any flavor)
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. cold water
- ice cubes
- 1 (4 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 (8 to 8 1/2 oz.) fruit, drained (or use 2/3 to 1 c. sliced or diced fresh fruit)
Directions

1Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.

2Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/2 cups.

3Add to gelatin and stir until slightly thickened.

4Remove any unmelted ice.

5Measure 1 cup and fold into whipped topping.

6Pour into 8-inch square pan.

7Place fruit over creamy layer, then spoon remaining gelatin over fruit.

8Chill until firm, about 3 hours.

9Cut into squares.
