- 1 qt. vegetable oil
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. warm water
Directions

1In pan, heat oil to 360°.

2In bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt.

3Stir in water; knead dough until no longer sticky. Cover and let stand 15 minutes.

4Pull off 2-inch balls.

5On a lightly floured surface, roll each until in a circle shape (1/4-inch thick).

6Pierce circles several times.

7Deep fry 2 or 3 at a time (cook 1 to 2 minutes).
