- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. dates, cut up
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 c. mixed candied fruit
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
Directions

1Turn frypan control to 220°.

2Melt butter; add dates.

3Cream eggs and sugar; add to dates and butter in frypan.

4Cook until thick, stirring constantly.

5Cool.

6Add fruit nuts, Rice Krispies and flavoring.

7Form into balls.

8Roll in coconut and store in tin in refrigerator.

9Will keep for a month.
