Frypan Fruit Balls

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. dates, cut up
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 c. mixed candied fruit
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Directions

    Turn frypan control to 220°.

    Melt butter; add dates.
  3. 3
    Cream eggs and sugar; add to dates and butter in frypan.

    Cook until thick, stirring constantly.

    Cool.

    Add fruit nuts, Rice Krispies and flavoring.

    Form into balls.

    Roll in coconut and store in tin in refrigerator.

    Will keep for a month.
