Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1 can bean sprouts with liquid
- 1 small can water chestnuts, drained
- 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pkg. pea pods, barely thawed
- 1 can chow mein noodles
Directions

1Put oil in big skillet.

2Add onions and celery.

3Saute for 5 minutes.

4Add crumbled beef.

5When beef is browned, add soup, rice, bean sprouts, soy sauce, salt and pepper.

6(If fixing early, stop here and finish later.)

7Pour into large casserole dish and bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 350°.

8Then add pea pods (thawed just enough to separate).

9Stir in and top with chow mein noodles.

10Bake uncovered another 30 minutes at 350°.
