- 4 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Directions

1Combine marshmallows, milk, butter, sugar and salt in a saucepan.

2Cook and stir until mixture comes to a full boil.

3Boil for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat and add chocolate pieces, beating until melted.

5Fold in vanilla and nuts.

6Pour into a greased 9-inch square dish.

7Chill until firm.

8Makes 2 1/2 pounds.
