Ingredients
- 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. marshmallow cream or 1 c. miniature marshmallows
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 c. evaporated milk or 3/4 c. milk
Directions

1Grease a jelly roll pan or a 9 x 9-inch square pan.

2Combine the chocolate and marshmallows and set aside.

3Mix the sugar, butter and milk in a heavy pot, stirring to combine well. Gradually bring to a boil over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

4Wash down the sides of the pan with a pastry brush dipped in cold water.

5Boil, stirring constantly, without touching the sides of pan for 5 minutes.

6Add the chocolate mixture, the salt and vanilla.

7Stir until the chocolate melts; add the nuts. Spread in pan.

8Let stand until firm.

9Store in airtight container.
