Fudge Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon (optional, adds different flavor)
  • 1/2 c. sour cream or buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, well beaten

Directions

    Bring margarine, cocoa and water to a boil (can be done in microwave).

    Add sugar, flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.

    Mix well by hand.

    Add eggs and sour cream or buttermilk.

    Very lightly greased a 10 x 15-inch pan. Pour in mixture and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Careful not to overbake.
