- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 3 large eggs
- dash of salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Mix sugar, dark corn syrup, eggs, salt, butter, vanilla and cocoa.

2Add pecans.

3Pour filling into an unbaked pie shell.

4Bake at 375° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325° and bake for an additional 40 to 45 minutes or until filling doesn't wiggle.
