- 1 deep dish pie crust
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 3/4 c. hot water
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 5.3 oz. evaporated milk
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven and cookie sheet to 350°.

2In saucepan, melt butter.

3Add cocoa and stir until dissolved.

4Add hot water and stir.

5With wire whisk, stir in sugar, flour, vanilla, salt and milk.

6Mix in pecans and pour into pie shell.

7Bake on cookie sheet for 50 minutes or until custard sets.
