Ingredients
- 1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)
- 2 eggs
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1/4 c. oleo, melted
- dash of salt
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Beat eggs and add cocoa, sugar, vanilla, milk, butter and salt.

3Mix well.

4Add pecans.

5Pour into pastry shell and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

6(When you test the pie, if there is still a lot of wiggling, pie may need to cook another 5 minutes or so.)

7Chill at least 3 to 4 hours before serving.

8Top with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
