Ingredients

  • 4 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 sticks oleo or butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. all purpose flour
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Melt chocolate and butter over very low heat in pan large enough to hold all ingredients.

    Add ingredients in order listed, dry ingredients, eggs, vanilla and nuts, mixing well after each addition.

    Pour into well buttered 10-inch pie dish.

    Bake 350° for 25 minutes.

    Allow to cool before cutting.
