- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 3 cups flour, White Lily plain
- 2/3 up cocoa
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Mix sugar, margarine and Crisco, beat well.

2Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each egg.

3Sift flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder together; add to other ingredients and beat well. Pour in tube pan that has been lightly greased and dusted with flour.

4Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees or until cake is done.
