- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
Directions

1Combine first 5 dry ingredients.

2Add milk, vanilla and butter and beat until smooth.

3Stir in the walnuts and spread the batter in a buttered 6 cup casserole.

4Over the batter, sprinkle the mixture of the brown sugar and cocoa.

5Over this, pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water.

6Bake in a 350° oven for 50 minutes.

7Do not attempt to turn out this cake.

8The bottom is full of fudge sauce.

9Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
