- 3 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 12 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 pinches salt
Directions

1Put chocolate, butter and evaporated mild in a 4-cup glass measuring cup.

2Microwave uncovered on high for 1 minute.

3Stop and stir.

4Microwave on high another minute.

5Remove and stir until chocolate and butter finish melting.

6Stir in the sugar.

7Microwave 1 minute, uncovered, on high.

8Remove and stir well with a wire whisk.

9If the sauce is grainy microwave just until the sugar melts 30 seconds to 1 minute more.

10Do not overcook.

11Whisk again.

12Whisk in the vanilla and salt.

13Let sauce cool a little.

14Serve warm or at room temperature.
