  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • marshmallows

Directions

    In double boiler heat chocolate chips, water and vanilla until melted.

    In separate container sift flour and soda.
  3. 3
    In another bowl blend with a spoon shortening, egg and brown sugar.

    Mix dry ingredients to shortening.

    Mix chocolate into mixture.

    Take frozen marshmallows and wrap dough around each, one at a time. Bake on ungreased sheet at 400° for 5 to 10 minutes.
