  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. (8 oz.) softened butter
  • 2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 12 oz. pkg. M&M's candies
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

  1. 1
    Preheat oven to 375°. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

    Cream together butter and sugar.
  3. 3
    Beat in egg and vanilla. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in M&M's and nuts. Drop with teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 11 minutes. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.

    Makes about 5 dozen.
