Funfetti Sugar Cookie

  • 1 container Candy Sprinkles, 1 Ounce Size
  • 1-3/4 cup Funfetti Cake Mix
  • 1/4 cups All Purpose Flour, Plus Extra For Handling Dough
  • 6 Tablespoons Butter, Slightly Chilled
  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla

    1. Preheat oven to 350 F and prepare 2 cookie sheets by covering them with parchment paper.

    2. Prepare a small shallow bowl with sprinkles, using as many as you like.

    3. In small bowl whisk together cake mix and 1/4 cup flour. Set aside.

    4. In the bowl of your stand mixer using the paddle attachment beat butter and sugar till blended together.

    5. Add one egg at a time and beat well each time. Then add vanilla.

    6. Slowly incorporate the flour mixture into the creamed mixture.

    7. Stir in as many sprinkles as you like (not the ones from the bowl).

    8. Dough will be sticky so you will need to sprinkle the dough and your hands with flour before rolling the cookies.

    9. Roll dough into your desired size of balls. Then roll balls into sprinkles.

    10. Place balls on cookie sheets with about 2 inches between each. Bake for 11-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
