- 2 c. plain flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Mix all ingredients well.

2Batter should be smooth and not too thin.

3Heat about 1-inch of oil in electric skillet to 375° or on stove top on medium-high.

4Pour about 1/4 to 1/3 cup batter into a medium size funnel.

5Hold over skillet and release batter, moving in a circular motion.

6Make a complete ring, closing ends of batter together.

7Continue pouring batter inside ring to make any design, making sure to connect batter to the outside ring.

8Brown each side for about 1 minute, using tongs to turn.

9Remove and drain on paper towel.

10Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

11Best when eaten warm!
