  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups flour, all-purpose
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 cups vegetable oil

Directions

    Combine all ingredients (except oil) and mix well.

    Heat oil in a small skillet to 360 degrees F.

    Cover funnel opening with finger and pour in 1/2 cup batter.

    Remove finger to allow batter to flow into hot oil.

    Swirl funnel to form spiral.

    Fry on each side until golden brown.

    Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar to serve.
