  • 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/3 c. milk
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • oil for frying
  • sifted confectioners sugar

Directions

    Combine flour, sugar, milk and eggs in bowl; beat until smooth. Heat 1/2-inch oil to 375° in electric skillet.

    Pour 1/4 cup of batter into funnel.

    Drizzle into hot oil in spiral pattern, controlling flow with finger.

    Fry for one minute on each side or until golden brown; drain on paper towel.
