- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. dates, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. corn flakes
- 2/3 c. nuts
- 1/2 c. coconuts
Directions

1Cook sugar, dates, egg and butter over medium heat, in heavy pan, until blended and thickened.

2Cool well and add vanilla.

3Add cereals, nuts and coconuts to the cooked mixture.

4Shape into balls; roll in additional coconut.

6I made these diabetic by eliminating the sugar in the dates and using sugar-free coconut.
